of Sidra-tul-Muntaha; two streams were visible and two were hidden. The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم asked Sayyiduna Jibra`eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـصَّلٰوة ُ وَالـسَّلَام: O Jibra`eel! What type of streams are these? Sayyiduna Jibra`eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـصَّلٰوة ُ وَالـسَّلَام humbly replied: Hidden streams are from Paradise and visible streams are the Nile and the Euphrates. (Sahih Bukhari, pp. 976, Hadees 3887)
As the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم moved forward from Sidra-tul-Muntaha, Sayyiduna Jibra`eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـصَّلٰوة ُ وَالـسَّلَام remained at the same place and humbly refused to go further. (Al-Muwahib-ul-Ladunniyyah, vol. 2, pp. 381)
Shaykh ‘Abdul Haq Muhaddis Dihlvi رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه has said that it has been stated in some narrations that the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said to Sayyiduna Jibra`eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـصَّلٰوة ُ وَالـسَّلَام: If you need something, you can humbly say it to me, I will mention it in the blessed court of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ. Sayyiduna Jibra`eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـصَّلٰوة ُ وَالـسَّلَام humbly said: Please mention this wish of mine to Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ that He عَزَّوَجَلَّ widens my arms, on the Judgment Day more, so that I can make your Ummah cross Siraat Bridge through my arms. A’la Hadrat, Imam-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, Maulana Shah Imam Ahmad Raza Khan رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه has said:
اَہلِ صِراط رُوحِ اَمِیں کو خَبَر کریں
جاتی ہے اُمَّتِ نَبوِی فَرش پَر کریں
He رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه said even more beautifully at another place:
پُل سے اُتارو راہ گُزر کو خَبر نہ ہو
جِبرِیل پَر بِچھائیں تو پَر کو خَبر نہ ہو
The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم then moved forward alone and reached a place travelling upwards, called Mustawa; over here he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم heard
