There is good news for you, for Allah Almighty has accepted your repentance.’ He became extremely happy at this and said, ‘May Allah Almighty have mercy on you, who will intercede for me in the court of Allah Almighty? Who will be my intercessor?’ The angel replied, ‘Your fear of Allah Almighty is such an action that will intercede for you and this very act of yours will intercede for you in the court of Allah Almighty.’ (‘Uyoon-ul-Hikayaat, p. 173)
