Book Name:Musibaton Par Sabr Ka Zehen Kaise Banye?

Similarly, some ignorant people are heard saying: 'I don't know what mistake I have made, or what sin I have committed for which I am being punished!'

Dear Islamic brothers! Despite the abundance and prevalence of sins in every moment, for those who are saying: 'I don't know what mistake I have made, or what sin I have committed for which I am being punished!'

Is missing prayers not a sin? Is missing obligatory fasts of Ramadan without a valid excuse as per Shariah not a sin? Is hurting Muslims' feelings without a valid excuse not a sin? Is committing or causing unjust killing not a sin? Is inflicting harm upon someone by means of magic not a sin? Is not paying Zakat despite it being obligatory not a sin? Is disobeying parents not a sin? Is engaging in usury not a sin? Is not protecting oneself from impure splashes in the lavatory not a sin?

Is severing ties with relatives without a valid reason not a sin? Is destroying relationships through backbiting not a sin? Is causing distress to a Muslim and speaking ill of them without a valid excuse not a sin? Is causing harm to saints (Awliyāʾ Allah) and harbouring enmity towards them not a sin? Is men wearing silk clothing or using gold not a sin? Is harbouring malice towards a Muslim not a sin? Is seizing someone's property through deception not a sin?

Dear Islamic brothers! Only a few sins have been mentioned here; countless other sins also exist. Yet, we say, 'What sin have I committed for which I am being punished?' May Allah Almighty have mercy on our distressed state. اٰمِیْنْ
