يَااَيُّهَا النَّاسُ  اِنَّ اَنْجَاكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ اَهْوَالِهَا وَ مَوَاطِنِهَا اَكْثَرُكُمْ عَلَىَّ صَلَاةً فِىْ دَارِالدُّنْيَا

O people! Undoubtedly, those of you who shall attain quickest salvation from the terrors and accountability of the Day of Judgement, shall be those who sent abundant ṣalāt upon me in the world.^[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                            صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Speech intentions

The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:  اَفْضَلُ الْعَمَلِ اَلنِّيَّۃُ الصَّادِقَۃُ – “The best of deeds is a sincere intention.”^[2]

Dear Islamic brothers! Make it a habit to form good intentions before every action, as good intentions can lead one to Paradise. Before listening to the speech, we can make the following good intentions:

1.I will listen to the entire speech to gain knowledge.

2.I will sit respectfully.

3.I will avoid being lazy.

4.I will listen with the intention of self-improvement.

5.I will try to convey what I learn to others.
