Book Name:Mojiza-e-Mairaj

This belongs to an Arab youth.’ I said: ‘اَنَا عَرَبِیٌّ I am an Arab.’ This belongs to a Qurayshi youth’. I said: ‘اَنَاقُرَشِیٌّ I am a Qurayshi.’ This belongs to a person from the Ummah of Muhammad’. I said: ‘اَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ I am Muhammad (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم).’ This palace belongs to Sayyiduna Umar Bin Khattab

The Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stated: ‘I desired that I enter that palace so that I could see it, but then I remembered your self respect (O Umar)’. After hearing this, Amir-ul-Mu’mineen Umar Faruq A’zam رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ began to reply: Ya Rasoolallah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! May my mother and father be sacrificed for you! Would I ever have a self respect over you?! (Tirmizi, vol. 5, pp. 386, Hadees 3709; Bukhari, vol. 2, pp. 525, Hadees 3679)

(3) Sublime and Superior Palaces

It is stated in a blessed hadith: On the night of Mi’raj, the Beloved and Blessed Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم saw some sublime and superior palaces in Paradise, which he asked Sayyiduna Jibraeel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام about, who replied saying: These are for those who swallow their anger and forgive people, and Allah Almighty favours those who do well (to others).[1]

(4) Domed Tents

It is in another hadith: In the beautiful night of the journey of Mi’raj, the Leader of the Prophets صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, whilst travelling through Paradise saw tents made of pearls in the shape of domes and their soil was musk. Who are these for? He replied; O Muhammad They are for the Imams and Mu’azzins of your Ummah. [2]
