Book Name:Mojiza-e-Mairaj
‘Reciting Durood upon me will be light amid the darkness of the Bridge of Sirat, and whoever wishes for his deeds to be measured with the most complete measuring container of reward on the Day of Judgement, he should send Durood upon me in abundance.’ (Al-Qaul-ul-Badee’, pp. 118)
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! Before listening to the Bayan, let’s first of all make good intentions for attaining the Divine pleasure and earning rewards. The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said, ‘نِيَّةُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِ خَيۡرٌ مِّنۡ عَمَلِهٖ’ The intention of a Muslim is better than his deed. (Al-Mu’jam-ul-Kabeer, vol. 6, pp. 185, Hadees 5942)
For righteous and permissible work, the more we make good intentions, the more we attain reward.
Intentions of listening to Bayan
۔1Lowering my eyes, I will listen to the Bayan attentively.
۔2Instead of resting against a wall, etc., I will sit in the Attahiyyaat position as long as possible with the intention of showing respect for religious knowledge.
۔3When I hear صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب, اُذۡكُرُوا اللّٰه, تُوۡبُوۡا اِلَى اللّٰه, etc., I will reply loudly with the intention of gaining reward and pleasing those who make Sada [call out] loudly.
۔4After the Bayan, I will approach people to say Salaam, shake hands and make individual efforts upon them.
