Book Name:Mojiza-e-Mairaj
Dear Islamic Brothers! Tonight is the 27th Night of Rajab-ul-Murajjab 1441 AH, meaning it is the Night of Mi’raj. All praise is to Allah Almighty that He has, once again, granted us this sacred night of virtue, blessings, happiness, mercy and forgiveness.
Tonight is that grand night on which our Master صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was bestowed with the great miracle, ‘The Miracle of Mi’raj’. Paradise was decorated, a procession of Angels saluted our Master صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, and a heavenly mode of transport, the Buraq, was sent forth for the Blessed Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. The leader of the angels, Sayyiduna Jibraeel, عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام held the bridle of his mount, and our Beloved Master صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم then proceeded to Masjid-ul-Aqsa with the luminous procession. All the Prophets greeted the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم whilst welcoming him at Bayt-ul-Muqadas! The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم led all the Noble Prophets in Congregational Prayer, and then he departed for the excursion from the earth to the heavens, after which he went onwards to see the wonders that lied therein. The special guest of Mi’raj صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was welcomed on each and every heaven. He صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم went beyond Sidrat-ul-Muntaha [سِدْرَۃُ الْمُنْتَہٰی] i.e. that station which is Sayyiduna Jibraeel’s عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام limit, and ascended even further. The special guest of Mi’raj صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم even went beyond the Arsh-e-A’zam (the Glorious Throne) until he reached the stage of ‘Qaba Qawsayn’ [قَابَ قَوسَین] ('Two Bows' Length). In short, the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was adorned, and invited for the excursion of ‘La-Makaan’ - and it was as though it was being announced that after Allah Almighty, the greatest rank in the entire universe belongs to the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.
Then why wouldn’t we say that the most excellent, most dignified, most sublime and most superior of all of creation is our Master صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Our Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is very beloved to his Merciful Lord, who has made him the master of both worlds. Our Master صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is the most superior and most highly ranked of all the Prophets and Messengers. When he صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم became the special guest of the Night of Mi’raj, Allah Almighty beautifully adorned the Arsh, the Kursi, the Heavens and the Earth, ‘Makan’ and ‘La Makan’, Paradise, and the entire universe, in order to honour and welcome
