Great night!

Dear Islamic brothers! Tonight is the 12^th night of the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal 1440 Hijri. Millions of thanks to Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ Who has blessed us once again with a sacred night of grand virtues and blessings. It is the great night in which the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم came into the world.

Sayyiduna Shaykh ‘Abdul Haq Muhaddis Dihlvi رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه said, ‘Undoubtedly, the night of the birth of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is superior to even Shab-e-Qadr, because the night, in which the chief of all the Ambiya, the Beloved of Rab عَزَّوَجَلَّ was born, was the night in which the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم came into the world, whereas Layla-tul-Qadr is the night which is bestowed upon the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. In fact, the night which has become great due to the advent of the Holy Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is more sacred and glorious than the night which has become great due to the descending of angels. (Ma-Sabata Bis-Sunnah, pp. 100)

When there were disbelief and polytheism, terror and brutality in the universe, in Makkah Mukarramah, a Noor shone in the blessed home of Sayyidatuna Aaminah رَضِیَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَنْهَا on 12^th Rabi-ul-Awwal and that Noor illuminated the whole world. The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم came into this world as a mercy for the entire universe.

As soon as Allah’s Noor i.e. the Embodiment of Noor صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم came into the world on 12^th Rabi’-un-Noor, the dark clouds of oppression were removed, the Ka’bah began to sway in ecstasy.

Dear Islamic brothers! In today’s great luminous night we will do the blessed Zikr of the glory and dignity of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and will try to gain mercy and blessings. In today’s Bayan, we will also listen to the Bayan [speech] about the powers Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has bestowed upon our Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. If you listen [to the Bayan] about the glorious powers of Mustafa صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم attentively, you will understand it, then اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه عَزَّوَجَلَّ, you will receive abundant blessings and mercy of this luminous night.
