Sayyiduna Sahl Bin Sa’d رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ narrates that a woman once came with a shawl and said, ‘O Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, I have crafted this with my own hands, and have brought it for you to wear.’ He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was in need of it, so he took it. After this, he          صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم came towards us whilst wearing the same shawl as a tehband (a cloth wrapped around the waist). One of the honourable Sahabah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُم saw this and said, ‘What a beautiful shawl, please allow me to wear it!’ Whereupon, the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘Yes.’ After a while, the Holy Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم left the gathering, and returned, folded the shawl and sent it to that Sahabi.

The honourable Sahabah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُم said to him, ‘You did not do right by asking for it, because you know the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم does not say no to anyone who asks from him.’ Upon this, that Sahabi رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ said, ‘By Allah! The only reason I asked for it was so that this shawl can be used as my shroud after I die.’ Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d goes on to mention that the same shawl was used as his shroud. صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The generosity of Mustafa صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم after his physical demise

Dear Islamic brothers! You have heard that our Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is the leader of both worlds, that Allah Almighty made him a king and granted him authority, and granted him the keys to all of His treasures, yet He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would not keep anything with him, rather, he would distribute everything. In fact, just as he صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم did during his physical life, even after being veiled from this world, he continues to shower gifts upon the grief-stricken members of his Ummah.
