اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه, the students of Jami’aat-ul-Madinah are taught free of cost, as well as being provided with accommodation, food and others amenities (for example, computer lab, an appropriate place to study, books, medicines for treatment, etc.) at no cost. You should also include your name among the fortunate people and admit your children in Jami’aat-ul-Madinah. Make individual effort upon your brothers, friends, relatives and other family members, and give them the mindset to enrol their children into Jami’aat-ul-Madinah as well. As well as causing the light of knowledge to spread everywhere and removing the darkness of ignorance, this will also become a Sadaqah Jariyah for you, اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

4. Dragging clothes out of pride

Dear Islamic brothers! Dragging the sarong, shirt and Imamah out of pride is also a cause of being deprived of Divine mercy. Hence, the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stated: ‘Dragging is also found in the sarong, shirt and Imamah. Whosoever drags any one of them out of pride, Allah Almighty will not gaze upon him with mercy on the Day of Judgement.’ (Abu Dawood, vol. 4, p. 83, Hadith 4094)

The well-known Quranic commentator, Hakeem-ul-Ummat Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه states, ‘Not only is the lowered sarong Makruh and prohibited, rather, if the tail of the Imamah and the hem of the shirt is longer than necessary, then it is also prohibited and the same warning applies on them too.’ He further states, ‘The tail of the Imamah should be up to half way down the back; some keep it even below this, which is prohibited. Some people keep the hem of the shirt below the ankles; this is (also) prohibited.’ (Mirat-ul-Manajih, vol. 6, p. 102, Summaries)
